CIUDAD DE MÉXICO. – Lady Gaga y Ariana Grande lideran la lista de nominaciones a los Premios MTV a los Videos Musicales (VMA), que este año incluirán nuevas categorías para actuaciones en cuarentena y videos musicales creados en casa durante la pandemia del coronavirus.
🎤 Se tiene previsto que los VMA 2020 se celebren sin público el próximo 30 de agosto en Nueva York.
Lady Gaga y Ariana Grande lideran la lista de nominaciones al recibir nueve nominaciones cada una, incluyendo a “Video del año” por su éxito “Rain on Me”, tema que también compite por la canción del año, mejor colaboración, mejor pop, mejor cinematografía, mejores efectos visuales y mejor coreografía.
Tras Gaga y Grande se ubican Billie Eilish y The Weekend, con seis menciones cada uno; también competirán por el premio al “Video del año” con “Everything i wanted” y “Blinding Lights”, respectivamente.
Otros candidatos al premio mayor son Taylor Swift con “The Man”, Future y Drake con “Life Is Good” y Eminem con “Godzilla”, en el que aparece el difunto rapero Juice WRLD.
